What It Is & How It Works

Neuromodulators are injectables that temporarily relaxes facial muscles to soften the look of lines and wrinkles. It works by blocking signals from the nerves to the muscles, so the injected muscle can’t contract.

Neuromodulators can be used in a variety of areas of the upper face, mostly commonly, the frown lines, forehead lines, crows’ feet lines, and bunny lines. There are also areas of the lower face and neck that can be improved with these products. Your provider can recommend other areas of treatment during your consultation.

With neuromodulators, there is no downtime and results typically last 3-6 months, depending on the product.s.

HOW DO THEY WORK?

IS THERE ANY DOWNTIME?

No.

DOES IT HURT?

There is minimal discomfort with this treatment. Topical numbing cream is available prior to injection if needed.

WHEN WILL I SEE RESULTS?

Results are not immediate and initial onset usually takes about 5-7 days depending on
the product used and the treatment area. Full results take about 14 days.

HOW LONG WILL THE RESULTS LAST?

Longevity varies per patient, but on average repeat treatments are needed every 3-6 months, depending on the product.
